An uncontrolled oil spill can cause severe, long-lasting damage to soil, water bodies, and communities. Green Label Services maintains an oil spill response capability for the Ugandan oil and gas sector, providing rapid mobilisation of containment booms, absorbent materials, vacuum tankers, and trained response teams. Following initial containment, we conduct environmental impact assessments and design site-specific remediation programmes using bioremediation, soil washing, or excavation and disposal techniques as appropriate. We work to restore contaminated sites to regulatory closure standards and produce the post-remediation verification reports that operators need for regulatory sign-off.
