Drilling mud (drilling fluid) is essential to safe and efficient well construction, but spent mud presents significant disposal challenges — particularly oil-based formulations. Green Label Services provides drilling mud treatment services covering fluid testing and characterisation, recovery and reconditioning of reusable fluids, treatment of non-reusable mud to render it environmentally acceptable, and compliant disposal of residues. We work with drilling fluid engineers and HSE teams to develop mud management plans that balance operational efficiency with environmental protection, helping operators meet their obligations under Uganda's Petroleum (Exploration, Development and Production) Act.
