About the Role

Green Label Services is seeking a competent QEHS Officer to implement, monitor, and continuously improve our Quality, Environment, Health & Safety management systems across all sites and operations. This is a frontline role that demands a passionate safety professional who can influence behaviour, drive compliance, and protect both our people and the environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor the company's QEHS management system in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Conduct routine site inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification exercises.
  • Investigate incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances, and prepare detailed corrective-action reports.
  • Deliver QEHS induction and toolbox-talk training to all operational staff and contractors.
  • Ensure all activities comply with NEMA regulations, OSHA requirements, and client-site rules.
  • Maintain and update QEHS registers including risk registers, legal registers, and incident logs.
  • Prepare monthly QEHS performance reports for management review.
  • Support internal and external audits, including those conducted by client HSE teams.
  • Monitor the use and condition of PPE across all operational teams and enforce compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of QEHS experience, preferably in waste management, oil & gas, construction, or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and NEMA regulations is essential.
  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent occupational health and safety qualification is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to influence behaviour at all levels.
  • Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
